The Contractor must provide, on request and within short notice periods, real-time computerized note-taking services and spoken-language interpretation services to support an employee with a hearing impairment. The services must enable the employee to fully participate in meetings, training sessions, workshops, conferences, and other work-related activities. Services may be required for meetings conducted in English, French, or both official languages and may be provided virtually (computerized note-taking) or in person (spoken-language interpretation) within the National Capital Region (NCR). The services consist of two distinct components: • Real-time computerized note-taking; • Spoken-language interpretation. For information purposes only, real-time computerized note-taking services are expected to be required on a regular basis throughout the contract period, whereas spoken-language interpretation services are expected to be required on an occasional basis as operational needs arise.
