Erosion protection work at the Chilliwack Hatchery, British Columbia for Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) The work will be conducted at Chilliwack River Hatchery, 55205 Chilliwack Lake Road Chilliwack, BC V4Z 1A7 Riverbank Stabilization and Log Jam removal. Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) requires urgent erosion protection works at the Chilliwack River Hatchery intake area to protect critical infrastructure, including the intake access road, intake pipeline, intake pond, and associated hatchery facilities. Recent riverbank erosion has resulted in significant loss of bank protection within the identified upstream and downstream repair areas. Continued erosion during future high-flow events may result in damage to the access road, exposure of the intake pipeline, and potential failure of the downstream road embankment. The Contractor must provide all labour, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to complete the work.
